Book Cover

This book offers evidence-based tools to both prevent and resolve conflict. Research in team development shows that conflict is normal:  most high-performing teams go through conflict! However, to become a high-performing team, commonly requires that teams navigate their conflict successfully.  To set the stage to navigate thought diversity, the first half of this book provides tools for building trust, creating and re-negotiating team agreements, providing equal voice in decision-making, voicing our values, giving and receiving feedback, and preventing conflict by being aware of various power and privilege imbalances.  The second half of the book then examines how to repair relationship conflict, setting out a mindset and toolkit, along with a structure to intervene and resolve conflict. These tools come with detailed explanations and examples of how to use them, using stories to engage the reader and draw them in.
