Critique how well fictional manager Haruki Takahashi performs while facilitating a conflict-calming conversation between two members of his team who are in dispute.
Deepen your understanding of how to address basic needs of dispute parties through a set of 'what if' hypotheticals where you'll answer questions.
Step into the role of facilitator to manage a dispute between two colleagues who cannot agree on how to get a project done.
As you work, you can consult an extensive library of expert advice videos and Performance Support documents to help and support you as you navigate through the activities. It’s like having an expert whisper their top tips in your ear right when you need them.
About Cultures Course
This course focuses on cultural differences between team members from different countries, which can further complicate problem-solving and add to the underlying frustrations and misunderstandings between the dispute parties.
Keep in mind that cultural differences can refer to differences rooted in other types of different perspectives, such as people working in different departments, being of different genders, having different social statuses, etc.
